Position Summary: The Senior Pastor will provide spiritual leadership, vision, and direction for North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship, an independent, non-denominational Bible church. This role involves preaching, teaching, pastoral care, and overseeing the church’s ministries and operations. The Senior Pastor will work closely with the Board of Elders, Executive Pastor (Church Operations), church staff, and congregation to fulfill the church’s mission and vision.

Major Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary teacher of the Word of God as contained in the Old and New Testaments and shall oversee the spiritual ministry of the church, which shall include but not be limited to administration of the ordinances and direction of worship services.
- Lead the congregation and staff by his example.
- Serve as one of the primary spokespeople of the Elder Board. He shall be responsible for communicating, and promoting, to the congregation and the staff, the policies, goals, and vision of the Board.
- Provide general guidance to the church and oversee the implementation of the policies established by the Board. He shall be a member of the Board.
- Serve as the church’s primary representative to the community at large.
- Serve the congregation as the primary catalyst for change, helping to shape the ongoing vision and future ministries of the church.
- Directly responsible for the directing, mentoring and development of the church’s pastoral staff. He shall also be personally responsible for raising up and developing the church’s future leadership.
- The Senior Pastor shall be an ex-officio member of every board, Council, and committee of the church.
- Adheres to the By-Laws of North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship.
Knowledge, Skill & Abilities:
- Ability to work collaboratively with church staff, elders, and volunteers.
- The ability to effectively lead and supervise all staff and ministry teams to accomplish the church’s vision.
- Well-developed people skills. Ability to have a good relationship with diverse personalities in a tactful, mature, and flexible demeanor.
- A life-long learner with a teachable attitude.
- Seek regular input from staff, elder board, and other ministry team leaders.
- Provide transformational teaching/preaching and life application that is uncompromisingly committed to the integrity of the Word.
- Develop the congregation as a community that disciples and ministers to one another and, as a missional body that reaches outside the church walls for Christ, sharing the biblical gospel message.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Overseeing the planning and conducting of worship services, developing sermons, and working with the worship team director.
- Fulfill other duties of the senior pastor: such as counseling, visitations, communion, baptisms, weddings, funerals, and membership classes.

- Have an intimate and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Demonstrate a lifestyle that is consistent with Biblical principles of good stewardship.
- Spiritual gifts of teaching, encouraging, administration, organization, and discernment.
- Be able to give testimony to his love for the Lord and call to pastoral ministry.
- Be a devoted follower of Jesus whose life reflects the gifts and the fruit of the Spirit.
- Be an emotionally healthy person who loves people and can create and sustain positive relationships with them.
- Consistent spiritual and moral character and lifestyle, fulfilling the Biblical leadership qualifications of an elder described in I Timothy 3:1-7 and in Titus 1:5-9.
- A spirit filled believer as outlined in Acts 2:1-8, who is led by the Holy Spirit in his daily life and ministry.
- A loving shepherd whose care for the spiritual well-being of both seekers and saved is characterized by grace and humility while being strengthened by discernment and prayer.
Education and Experience:
- A Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or equivalent theological degree from an accredited institution.
- Ordination and a minimum of 7-10 years of pastoral experience, preferably in a non-denominational setting.
- Strong biblical knowledge and theological understanding.
- A heart for pastoral care and a passion for evangelism and discipleship.

Reports To: Communications Manager
Hours Per Week: Sunday morning worship & Wednesday evening bible study. If you can only volunteer for a specific day (instead of both), that is fine as well.

North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship is seeking an innovative, energetic, relational individual to lead our Worship Teams. In this part-time position you will help lead a broad range of vocalists, in one of the key ministries of our church.
The ideal person will lead vocally and instrumentally, have a passion for worship, and bring fresh ideas on worship styles- especially within the context of our church values and ethos. The ability to lead lay and experienced vocalist(s) as well as identify/audition/develop/nurture artistic talent are key.
We are a Bible teaching church (in-person, and streaming) with a lively, intergenerational mix—our ongoing mission is to make disciples. Our Sunday morning service is an experience where we desire to connect with God through song, prayer, teaching and being together. Our current music style ranges from a full band to a simple acoustic set, and includes all styles from gospel, contemporary, and classic hymns. We welcome the idea of a new leader bringing new songs, styles, and worship experiences to help us experience the broad range of God’s presence and power in our community. We are committed to worshiping in Spirit and in Truth; we encourage a freedom to be led by the Spirit in worship while staying consistent with our core beliefs. - Qualifications:
The candidate should possess: - A strong and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Strong leadership skills and ability to build volunteer teams with members of varying skill levels
- Servant heart and attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Teachable disposition and able to receive direction and correction
- Technically excellent instrumental and vocal ability, able to train other musicians and vocalists.
- Ability to engage worshipers, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, through songs, music, and prayer.
- An attitude which values diversity and shows intentionality in creating an atmosphere that welcomes worshipers from different backgrounds.
- Minimum 3 years worship leading experience in a congregational setting
- A good understanding of the production side of worship including sound, video, media, and livestreaming is a plus. Must understand enough to work effectively with the production team.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the musical worship experience at North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship & church events
- Provide leadership to the vocalist(s), at event rehearsals, and through song selection.
- Coordinate with production team for a quality worship experience.
- Coordinate maintenance of all church musical and sound equipment needed by vocalist(s).
- Recruit, audition and integrate new vocal leaders.
- Provide vision casting, team building and pastoral support to worship team and production team
- Along with the Worship Director, provide musical and spiritual support /encouragement to empower new leaders.
- Manage the Planning Center system for scheduling band & events (people, song choices, chord charts, etc.)
- Provide oversight and maintenance for all CCLI/copyright issues.
- Provide weekly individual meetings with worship team, as well as weekly worship planning meetings with Worship Director.
